The logistical and scientific organization will be ensured by a local committee (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Biomat\u00e9riaux &#8211; H.F. Hildebrand) and a national committee (BIOMAT &#8211; Didier Letourneur).<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the symposium will be to bring together clinicians, companies and researchers working in the field of biomaterials with a focus on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The cross-border cooperation with invited speakers from United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, and Netherlands.<\/li>\n<li>A strong participation of students with low registration fees.<\/li>\n<li>The structuring of the research on Biomaterial and Medical device at the national level with the creation of a Research Group.\u00a0\u00a0 The application (submitted in January 2017) will gather more than 100 academic laboratories (researchers, professor\/assistant professors and clinicians) and 20 companies.<\/li>\n<li>One morning devoted to education on Biomaterials, including presentations of current training in France: two round tables about the New European regulation on Medical devices and current cross-border programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A rich scientific program will be proposed with numerous scientific presentations favouring students.
